Panzer IV. This kit should be a 5⭐️ everyday of the week, but it’s not. When I buy a Tamiya model tank I know I’m going to have to replace rubber band tracks & the 2 halves barrel & I like photo etch which is fine & I have no problem with this. But providing a piece of string to pass as a tow cable is in my opinion not acceptable. Tamiya are market leaders in models & surely can do better than bloody string! The kit itself is first class with no fit issues although I would recommend a Slow setting cement such as VMS to assemble the additional turret armour before attaching it with Tamiya xtra thin. As I’ve already said friul model tracks, aber gun barrel & Eduard photo etch were used & for the first time I bought & used a Eurika xxl tow cable (because I had to) & I also painted it with Vallejo model air for the first time which is excellent & what I’ll be using from now on. I’m very pleased with the results of this tank. The Panzer IV is widely regarded as the work horse of the German armoured forces & was in production from beginning to end of the war being constantly upgraded to this type the final version. Although outclassed by the Panthers & Tigers it was never replaced by them. This was a tank the Germans simply couldn’t do without & was what Allied & Red Army troops were most likely to encounter. All in all this is an excellent kit (apart from the string!) & I enjoyed building & more so painting. Would recommend, except for the string

LO MAS CRITICO ES EL BLINDAJE EXTERNO DE LA TORRETA, HAY QUE PINTARLO POR SEPARADO Y PEGARLO AL FINAL CORRIGIENDO LOS ERRORES QUE PRODUCE EL PEGAMENTO EN LA PINTURA.

Bought as a present for our son. He was thrilled. He loves the Tamiya kits as they are so detailed.

What you’ Expect from Tamiya. Good quality plastic accurately moulded. Can be enhanced further with readily available PE kits, metal tracks and metal gun barrels.

Perfect fit, awesome look, easy to assemble.. Shame it didn’t come with spaced armour panels for the sides.
