Lo hemos devuelto. Esto puede ser un gran regalo para amantes de Star Trek Voyager con tiempo, paciencia, amor por el modelismo y mucho espacio para exponer maquetas. Y un mal regalo para quien esté buscando un juguete mínimamente robusto, no pueda montar maquetas o piense que, una vez montada, se podrá exponer en un espacio pequeño. De haber tenido información adecuada sobre el producto,su tamaño y su forma de montaje, no lo habría comprado, y me habría ahorrado un disgusto con la persona a la que se lo he regalado, que tenía muchas ganas de tener una nave Voyager (no se encuentran fácilmente en España) pero se ha llevado un buen chasco cuando ha visto que no iba a poder montarla. Por mucho que leí la descripción del producto, no vi por ninguna parte que era un conjunto de piezas de plástico para ir pegándolas (ni siquiera montándolas como los Lego, sino pegando con pegamento bordes difíciles de unir) y construir poco a poco una maqueta a la que además había que pintarle minuciosamente piezas y partes muy pequeñas. Para quien busque montar una maqueta echándole horas y mucha minuciosidad, puede ser un gran regalo, siempre y cuando tenga una vitrina grande para exponerlo. Sólo la pieza más grande (la carcasa superior de la parte de la nave donde está el puente de mando y las habitaciones) mide 40 cm de largo. Necesitaría vaciar toda una balda de una estantería tipo Billy para ponerla, no tenemos espacio para eso.
No puedo evaluar si daría algún problema durante su montaje y pintura. Quien recibió el regalo me ha dicho que no trae las pinturas ni el pegamento. La caja sí indica qué colores de pinturas de aeromodelismo necesita cada pieza. Sí puedo decir que, en principio, la relación precio/ tamaño y fidelidad del producto parece ser muy buena porque la reproducción de Voyager me ha parecido fiel al original y rica en detalles.

I built this kit previously, as kit number 04801, when it was priced at £16.99. It has since been re-boxed and re-priced, to more than £90.00.
This kit, number 04992, contains exactly the same sprues, parts and decals as the more expensive kit but, with a new style, coloured instruction sheet.
This is a good model of the USS Voyager, from the Star Trek «Voyager» TV Series. The detail is quite good and the decal sheet makes for a well detailed model.
With just 69 parts, the kit can very easily lull the builder into thinking it will be an easy build. However, be warned, the shaped parts can be difficult to place! Especially the clear plastic parts. Care is needed as you build this kit, if you don’t want it to be spoiled by parts that move before the cement sets.
The decal set requires patience as most are tiny but, they do give the completed kit a really detailed finish.
For fans of the Star Trek Voyager series, this is a very good kit.

Envío rápido y el paquete muy bien protegido. El producto es exactamente como se describe. Una compra 100% recomendada para cualquier amante de las maquetas y sobretodo de Star Trek.

But 3 star fo assembly, because its not meant to be easy. I found it not to bad. The decals are very fidely but I loved this. Painted it up. Loved the decals you put inside the windows that show corridors and people. Nice touch. Showed that my hand is nit as steady as it was. Enjoyed this.

The top and bottom of the main hull (oval top bits) where very badly moulded, got in touch with Revell (sent photo’s), they said they would send me replacements. After over 3 weeks told me all other parts had the same fault and to send back to seller for a refund, time and faff to do that, no offer of any recompense.
Utterly pathetic rubbish response as got far into working out and buying parts to light and painting/detailing other parts of the model.
Didn’t reply to further complaint (to be fair could put down to Covid..)
Bought mainly to replace old decals from the 1st version (they are better, as is the addition of the shuttle/ shuttle bay and colour instructions). Now stuck with a kit that won’t look much good, won’t ask Amazon to refund as already gave me some money back and spent so much time on it..
My summary is don’t buy Revell kits, especially this one, not the 1st that was shabby from them , they don’t seem to give a tinkers cuss about quality control..personally will avoid anything by them (and I thought the quality of some Airfix kits was poor).
