Cheap for a reason. The model is poor quality. Poor fit on most pieces with mould lines and flash everywhere. Prepare to use a lot of sandpaper and filler…. Poor instructions with items in the instructions not uncluded on the sprue and items on the sprue not in the instructions. Its as though it is made up of two different kits. It looks ok with a lot of effort, but not worth it. Buy another brand and as others have said, buy the decals separately.

Wow there is poor and then there is this. Having built the Tamiya version of this kit i thought id check this out. This is truly awful quality with warped parts and really poor mouldings. I gather this is a re box of uan old kit and it shows. Do yourself a favor and buy the Tamiya Tomcat and use the decals from this on that one if you want a Top Gun model. This is cheap yes but its no excuse for this poor effort. Really bad.

I have not yet assembled this model and I have only one suggested for Revel.
Consider selling paint-sets for particular models, it is hard to chase all colors required to complete pain job.
I understand that processionals have all colors (and way more) on stock but for us who have a only occasional time to build a model I guess it would be helpful.

Viene muy bien y detallado, pero estaría bien y trajera el kit de herramientas para montarlo y las pinturas necesarios, o quiza un enlace directo con el mismo para poder adquirirlo

Very much trading on the franchise as the quality of the kit is pretty average to poor if I’m honest. I’ve been building scale models for years and think I have a pretty good idea of what I’m doing so I did a quick Dry assembly of some of the parts and the fit is poor; the quality of the parts themselves on the sprues is poor and lack detail. Honestly, if I wasn’t a huge top gun fan I’d probably send it back cause even at £25 it ain’t worth it when I’ve had similar priced revell kits like their farewell tornado that was excellent and extremely well detailed. Unless you absolutely must have this kit as a fan of the movie then I’d seriously steer clear! There are loads of better f-14 kits out there.
