キット自体はいつものエアフィックスなのでとくにこれと言った問題は無い感じですね。
しいて言えばこれはエアフィックスと言うより元々の機体の問題なんですけど、
バラストウェイトを機首部分に20gも入れないとしりもちをついてしまいます。
ただ、機首にエアインテークがあるのでバラストを入れるスペースがインテーク仕切りからコックピットにかけての三角形のスペースぐらいしかないので20gはかなりきついです。あとはコックピットの後ろとか前脚格納庫周りとかに分散してバラストを入れるしかないでしょうね。

What can I say. This kit is affordable, well made, well detailed, and easy to find. And the Mig 17 is a fascinating subject.
Would I buy it again?
You bet your 37mm Nudelman N-37 gun I would.

Airfix are going from strength to strength at the moment and the MiG 17 kit is an excellent addition to their catalogue.
I haven’t built the kit yet but looking at the runners this appears to be a cracking kit. I’m not too sure about the back to the ejector seat as it looks a bit anorexic to my eye. A replacement resin seat would not go amiss.
I have bought a set of aftermarket decals – Xtradecal 72313 – and I suspect I will be buying a few more copies of this kit!
As I said I haven’t built the kit yet but based on what I have seen from the modelling press and the runners I don’t think I’m going to be disappointed. Would I recommend this? Yes and I think a novice with a few kits under their belt would enjoy this. Oh… and don’t forget to put some weight in the nose!
Just a little addition to the review. Bought 2 more. I can certainly recommend this kit!

This is another of Airfix’s over engineered kits. There is no need for so many subassemblies. Just a left and right fuselage will suffice. The fit is poor, and the undercarriage struts are too weak. Hasegawa’s old Mig 17 kit was better.
